THE PROJECT
Shazam is a globally used and well known app that identifies music around you, based on a short sample of sound and using the microphone on the device. The app has 1 billion installs and counting. It has been owned by Apple since 2018.
I have worked at Shazam as a product designer. However, we were a small team of 5 designers and found ourselves working on some digital design projects on the side, such as playlist covers, campaigns, etc. I have also redesigned the email newsletter.

PLAYLIST COVERS ARTWORK
These are artworks made for genre playlists. Each of the cover follows the same template, with a unique artwork that's related to the music genre.

END OF THE YEAR CAMPAIGN
I've worked on the end of 2020 campaign, in order to celebrate the most shazamed artists. 
I came up for a theme that could easily work for all artist images without involving too much custom work on the images. 
I put together 4 colour combinations - dark green/pink; purple/yellow; dark blue/orange and magenta/blue.

NEWSLETTER REDESIGN
During my time at Shazam, I have redesigned the Charts newsletter to refresh it and make it more consistent with the artworks we were using online. I have mainly focused on the sections headers and created a template to make sure each of them could be updated easily by the marketing team.
